NEXT UP: RESTON, VA!
We are on our way to the great city of RESTON, VA! Can't wait to see everyone February 3-5, 2012. It's going to be an exciting weekend of dance, for sure!! Get ready for some awesome classes with WCDE's incredible faculty and great performances from some of the areas finest studios. Studios from various states will be in attendance and we are looking forward to greeting all of our friends and meeting new friends too! It's a SOLD-OUT event and we thank all of you for your fantastic support. It's going to be an amazing convention! Don't forget...All duo/trios will be competing on Friday evening beginning at 8:00pm. (Feb 3rd) We have sent out a schedule to all of the studio owners but we also like to post a rough outline of the schedule of events right here on our Latest News section. It is listed below..

DENVER COMPETITION SOLD-OUT!
The registration for our upcoming Denver event has been overwhelming! The Denver competition is completely SOLD-OUT! No further competition entries will be accepted. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who is attending for their support. You all have been so supportive of WCDE: Denver ever since we first started way back in 1996. WOW! TIME FLIES! Thanks so much...We are so appreciative!
WCDE starting 2012 off with a BANG!
We are all SO excited to get back to dancing with all of you in 2012! First up is Minneapolis, MN (Jan 14-15), followed by Denver, CO (Jan 21-22). An overview of the schedule of events for Minneapolis will be posted soon.

The Biloxi, MS competition is completely SOLD-OUT! No further competition numbers will be excepted. We are looking forward to kicking of our tour in Biloxi and can't wait to see everyone there! Announcing our 2011-2012 Demonstrators!
 
Then new season is set to kick-off in just a short time in Biloxi, MS!
Can't wait! We are thrilled to announce that our demonstrators for the upcoming season are Elleni Avila and Taylor McMahon! We have both coasts represented with these talented dancers. Elleni is from Mather Dance Company in California, and Taylor is from North Shore Dance Academy in Massachusetts!

2011 National Finals Pinnacle Cup Champion!
Congratulations to our 2011 National Finals Pinnacle Cup Champion- Dance Connection, AZ. "The Link" won $2,500.00 for winning the Teen Dance Off division at the Gala and then received an additional $2,500.00 from Jean Ann Ryan Productions for winning the Pinnacle Cup!

Extraordinary National Finals 2011!

THANK YOU to all who attended the 2011 West Coast Dance Explosion National Finals! We are all still flying high from an absolutely incredible week of dance. All of the dancers were SO AMAZING!! Performances, artistry, choreography....second to NONE! It was incredibly inspiring for everyone. So many wonderful and supportive parents were in attendance which made it very special. To all the dance teachers...all we can say is WOW!! You keep topping yourselves each year. Your hard work and dedication was evident in each and every performance! It was great to see all the kids not only working so hard on stage, but also in the workshop classes. The Dance Off at the Gala was off-the-hook, and how about that showstopper performance by pop music icon- TAYLOR DAYNE?! She totally rocked it out on stage LIVE with the wcdelite dancers!
The WCDE National Finals and Gala/Dance Off were again SOLD-OUT this year and we can't thank you enough for your overwhelming support! We hope we can create many more memories together very soon. The 2011-2012 Tour is just around the corner and we are working hard to bring you another year of exciting, fun and prestigious dance events. Be sure to check out our West Coast Dance Explosion and Dance 2 The Max tour dates. Hope to see you there!!

We are excited to announce that multi-platinum recording artist TAYLOR DAYNE is scheduled to perform at the West Coast Dance Explosion 2011 National Finals GALA! The pop icon with the AMAZING voice has sold over 75 million albums and singles worldwide. Some of her hit's include "Tell It To My Heart", "Prove Your Love", "Love Will Lead You Back" and " I Will Be Your Shelter", just to name a few. We can't wait to welcome this incredible performer to the stage on July 15th!
